Dr. Dinesh Kini

Dr. Dinesh Kini is a Gastroenterologist with 33 years of experience. He holds a degree in MD - General Medicine, MBBS, and DM - Gastroenterology. Dr. Kini completed his MD in General Medicine at Kasturba Medical College in 1995, MBBS at the same college in 1991, and DM in Gastroenterology at SANJAY GANDHI POST GRADUATE INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES, LUCKNOW in 2000.

Dr. Kini has worked at various prestigious institutions, including as an Assistant Professor at KMC, Senior Resident in Gastroenterology at SGPGI, Assistant Professor in Gastroenterology at KMC Manipal, Senior Consultant Gastroenterologist at Manipal Hospital, and Head of the Department of Gastroenterology at MILDD.

He has received a Gold Medal for the best outgoing MD in General Medicine and has published articles in National and International journals. Dr. Kini introduced the concept of a Multi-Specialty approach in Gastroenterology and pioneered advanced treatments like RFA for liver cancer, Therasphere for liver cancer patients, Transjugular liver biopsy, TIPSS for end-stage liver disease, and more.
