About Of Dr Khanh Tran
I am an Australian-trained Ear, Nose and Throat surgeon with a special interest in rhinology and facial plastic surgery. After completing my medical degree at the University of Adelaide in 2006, I returned to Sydney for specialist surgical training in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, becoming a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2012.
My passion for nasal breathing, sinus disease and facial aesthetics led me to spend more than five and a half years pursuing advanced fellowship training overseas. I was fortunate to work with many of the world’s leading surgeons in New York, Beverly Hills, San Francisco, London, Seoul, Paris, Istanbul, Milan, Hamburg, São Paulo and Buenos Aires. This extended period of mentorship gave me a broad, balanced perspective on both functional and cosmetic rhinoplasty, deep-plane facelift techniques, eyelid rejuvenation and complex revision cases.
Today I consult and operate in Sydney’s inner west and eastern suburbs. My practice at Central Sydney ENT in Burwood is dedicated to adult and paediatric ENT conditions, with particular emphasis on nasal airway surgery, endoscopic sinus procedures and facial plastic surgery performed to the highest technical and ethical standards. I hold public appointments and operate privately at Chatswood Private Hospital, East Sydney Private Hospital and Strathfield Private Hospital.
I believe surgery is as much about listening as it is about operating. My aim is always to understand what truly matters to each patient—whether that is breathing freely again, restoring confidence after years of sinus problems, or achieving a natural, refreshed appearance that aligns with who they feel they are.
Outside theatre, I enjoy keeping up with the latest evidence in our field, teaching the next generation of surgeons and, when time allows, escaping to the coast with my young family. I look forward to the privilege of helping you with your ear, nose, throat or facial concerns.
